It is important to keep sight of the fact that none of this was reported to Dr. Okafor until 2016!!! Even then, he was not given the full details of the complaint. He was only given the name and asked to send medical notes. Regarding complaints against physicians, the College’s own regulation stipulates that: 1. the report must be made in a recorded format by the complainant in writing or electronic format and 2. the physician in question must be informed about this within 2 weeks. Neither of these ‘thresholds’ were met in this case. The body in charge of ethics in medical conduct would seem capable of warping its rules and regulations at whim. Their agent who came to the clinic back in 2016 on the locum pharmacist matter, obviously was ready for blood because she felt Dr. Okafor was too big for his britches and she could hide behind a trusted body to teach him a lesson. How do you leave such a matter in a Doctor’s file since 2012, fail to contact him to inform him, wait until you find him proud, then go after the tortured soul who started the complaint, cajole the soul, when the cajoling didn’t work, threaten that soul with jail to come forward? Imagine how easy it would have been to gather evidence against Dr. Okafor on this matter. You only mentioned her name to him in 2016, Four years after????? No! Your agents of wickedness will not be able to hide on this matter. The world will judge this.
