Mr. Thomas is the biological son of the woman who started this charade, Mr. Thomas lived with his grandmother, his de facto mother from infancy. When months after the Gary Hickey event Mr. Thomas will have a routine clinic visit to discuss his need for assistance with a new app development project. Dr. Okafor’s nature of being there for everyone and anyone, with especially passion for social interventions on behalf of the disadvantaged members of the black community, is part of him that his community appreciates and respects.
